My meds are working wonders (although my psychiatrist is retiring and I'm slightly nervous about finding a new compatible one); I am taking Hula and Belly Dance classes again; I have had several very nice and fun play dates. I am all about staying positive now. No negativity allowed!

Traffic school is finished; Grandma is visiting my Aunt in Palm Springs until Monday; I am chilling out with my felines and a few movies on cable TV. Aside from lack of human companionship, life is good.

I believe I have come a long way with improving my submission and general outlook. Sometimes I hate the fact that it takes medication for me to feel pleased with my life, however I am reminded that this situation is medical, not a matter of intent or willpower; and is really no different than a diabetic who must take insulin on a regular basis. My mentoring relationships with Mr.Marquis and Lady Raven are going well; my creative energy is at an all-time high; I am sticking to my curfew (bed at nidnight, awake at 9am) and taking more diligent care of my health; I am immersed in the bizarre sensation of having hope about the future for the first time in months. It's weird - but it's a good weird; not a scary weird.

I love m'LadyCelticWolf, Mr.Marquis, FinnKveldulfr, my family, and many good friends who have wandered in and out of my life for all these years. I love that I feel deserving of love for the first time in months. Pretty scary, eh?

To everyone out there who might be wondering what the bloody hell this strangely cheerful, chirping creature is that has evidently replaced the morbid modgod - I've been taking a new medication called Abilify. My therapist, psychiatrist, family and friends have all noticed the dramatically positive difference in my outlook. Stay tuned for more bone-chilling updates!
